St. Anne's School of Annapolis, a co-educational school, is seeking a Middle School Science & Design Teacher for 2020-2021 academic year. This position includes teaching middle school science, including lab work and field experiences, as well as a design course that include coding, engineering, maker lab and design thinking projects taught within the School's Design Lab.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of teaching experience and a passion for teaching earth, life, and physical sciences, engineering and technology. Candidates should have experience with project-based learning as a means to engage students meaningfully in real-world and twenty-first-century experiences. This full-time position includes two sections of middle school science classes (grades five and six) and five sections of design classes (grades 5 - 8).
