Teach Elementary method courses including literacy methods, ESL methods, and graduate courses. Participate in committees at the school, college, university, and district level.
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Elementary Education in the areas of Literacy, ESL, and research methods.
Teach online, graduate courses for the reading teacher program and curriculum and instruction, research methods, ESL.
Provide course instruction that includes mentor ship and modeling best practices for undergraduate students.
Supervise students in the field and student teaching placements.
Provide assistance in helping students understand and apply technology in a 1:1 iPad classroom environment.
Provide for all our students course instruction, student recruitment, academic advising, and student advocacy.
Provide mentor ship, support, and leadership to graduate students.
Supervise research and help them visualize themselves as teacher researchers, including providing the guidance necessary to complete cumulating projects.
Participating in departmental operation and leadership, addressing departmental and program enhancement, assessment, and future development at the college/school and university.
Evidence of demonstrated effective ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds.
