ISC is looking for a Biology teacher with experience in teaching Grades 9-12, preferably within an international or IB curriculum. This is a full-time classroom position. The curriculum taught is a combination of international science standards and those of the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. This teacher will also be asked to teach interdisciplinary project based learning courses during the afternoon program.

Prepare & teach IB Biology to Grades 11 & 12.
Prepare & teach General Science lessons to students in Grades 8-10.
Prepare & teach afternoon program lessons as needed.
Administer and model ISC’s school policies and procedures (e.g., attendance, dress code, etc.).
Regularly collect, track, and communicate student performance and growth.
Maintain regular email correspondence with parents and students.
Either: Bachelor’s Degree in Biology + Master’s Degree in Education
OR: Bachelor’s Degree + Master’s Degree in Biology
3 years head teacher experience
Experience with IB Curriculum
Non-traditional work experience
Fluency in German or another language.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Salary roughly equivalent to 45,400 - 54,000 USD.
Relocation support provided for all teachers outside of Germany. Amount depends on individual circumstances such as distance and dependents.
