Under the direction of the Head of the School, the elementary classroom teacher is responsible of supporting the Sisters of the Company of the Savior and their mission of providing a faithful and well-rounded Catholic Education.
The Elementary Homeroom Teacher is to facilitate success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing Mater Salvatoris School method and curriculum in Third and Fourth Grade.
Educators are engaged in a school conducted by the Sisters of the Company of the Savior for the express purpose of education in the academic, social moral and religious values promulgated by the Catholic Church.

Willingness to learn how to implement the Mater Salvatoris Method.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Valid State Teaching Certification in the appropriate grade level and/or subject.
Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level.

Mater Salvatoris College Preparatory School in Stamford opened its doors in September 2018, starting with the lower grades and will grow one grade level each year up to 12th Grade. It is co-ed in PK & K and all-girls from First Grade up.
