Princeton Charter School, a New Jersey public school of choice, is seeking an energetic, creative thinker to teach second grade collaboratively with others on the team and the school faculty in general beginning August 31st, 2020. Princeton Charter School is a high performing K-8 school serving the town of Princeton, whose mission is to meet the needs of all learners through supporting and challenging our students. In general, the second grade teacher is responsible for the teaching of reading using Guided Reading instruction, writing using the Writer’s Workshop style, mathematics, and social studies. The classroom teacher helps develop students socially and emotionally and helps them to embrace the process of learning. Princeton Charter School is a small school of 474 students with a close and supportive family community. While there is an elementary and middle school division, the buildings are not far apart and the campus is pleasant and open in a treed area.
