St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks a Dance Teacher to begin August 15, 2020. The mission of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is to know and inspire each child in an inclusive community dedicated to exceptional teaching, learning, and service.
Position: The school seeks a part-time Dance Instructor to lead the Upper School Dance Company in Fall and Spring Trimesters (3:30 - 5:45p). Additional stipended roles are open depending on the instructor’s availability: a Winter Middle School Dance Instructor (2:30 - 3:40p), and choreographer for the Winter Upper School Musical (3:45 - 5:45p) and Spring Middle School Musical (typically 10:00 - 11:00a Mondays/Thursday and 1:30 - 2:35p Tue).
Qualifications: BA or higher with prior college-level/professional dance performance and/or prior K-12 dance instruction experience preferred. Dynamic instruction and the ability to work effectively as a team member within the Arts department are also essential.
