| Description Dutchess Day School seeks a full-time general/choral music teacher for grades 3-8, beginning in September 2020. The school’s music program includes choral, instrumental, general music, and musical theater components for class plays. Twice weekly, general music classes provide the foundation, experience, understanding, and skill for all other musical pursuits. - Teach two general music classes each week for each grade level.
- Serve as Music Director for the annual 6th & 8th-grade musical theater productions
- Provide and supervise opportunities for students to demonstrate individually or in ensembles the skills and talents developed in the music program.
- Possess a familiarity with the NAfME Standards, and the National Core Music Education Standards
