Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West of Manhattan, seeks an Upper School Chemistry Teacher to serve students in grades 9-12 beginning in September 2020.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, science education, or environmental science (Master’s degree preferred) and high school teaching experience in courses ranging from introductory chemistry through AP Chemistry. Understanding and experience with laboratory-based, student-centered instruction are essential. Interest and experience in teaching other courses, particularly environmental science, and/or supervising student research are desirable. The position will involve teaching 10th grade chemistry in a physics first curriculum in addition to the possibility of teaching advanced chemistry or science electives.
