Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School, an accredited college preparatory school, in Bradenton, FL seeks a dynamic elementary teacher to foster student learning and skill development. Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in elementary education, and experience with the developmental stages to be taught in 5th grade. Curriculum development in English, Language Arts, and/or Social Studies (introductory American history), as well as global and/or other diversity experiences, are highly valued. Qualified candidates should have experience in or familiarity with differentiated learning to engage students at varying ability levels. Collaboration with colleagues at multiple levels is a norm at Saint Stephen’s. If hired, additional responsibilities may include a grade-level advisory and duties, such as lunch, morning, and/or afternoon student monitoring.
Experience with the Being a Writer workshop program or a similar Writers Workshop program is preferred.
