Mt. Bethel Christian Academy is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and engaging Band and/or Instrumental Ensemble teacher to lead in the Middle and Upper Schools in Marietta, GA. This is a part-time position that will include one Upper School class (9-12) and three Middle School classes (6th, 7th, 8th). The teacher will be responsible for designing curriculum, planning lessons, promoting the music program, and directing concerts and musical performances in collaboration with the school’s academic leaders. The teacher will work closely with the division heads to ensure alignment between the middle and upper school curriculum and practices.
Candidates must be innovative and enthusiastic with their approach to teaching and should embrace the independent school model of mentoring, advising, and supporting students outside of the classroom and must be in agreement with the school's Statement of Faith. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably a Master’s).
