The Performing Arts department is in search of an experienced choral ensemble teacher to serve as an interim member of our adjunct music faculty for the coming year. The position includes conducting the school Chorus (one day a week) and the CA Singers, an auditioned chamber ensemble (2-3 days a week). There is also the potential to teach voice lessons through the school’s Individual Music Instruction program. The successful candidate will be an accomplished musician and an energetic, innovative educator with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated organizational ability, and a passion for working with adolescents and supporting their discovery of creative potential through music. Experience with or willingness to learn technologies to support ensemble singing in a distance learning model or HyFlex model is desired, as the school works to prepare for and adapt to evolving conditions under COVID-19.
