Georgetown Preparatory School seeks a highly qualified full-time Visual Arts teacher beginning in the 2020-2021 academic year. Candidates should demonstrate competence in teaching drawing, painting and 3-D exploration.
Georgetown Prep is a Jesuit, Catholic high school for boys. As such, we place a high priority on hiring faculty members versed in and enthusiastic about Jesuit education and spirituality. Candidates should expect and must be able to teach students at all levels and all proficiencies. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with colleagues both within the department and across all academic disciplines. Candidates must hold a BA or BFA in visual arts or arts education; Masters degree preferred.
