| Lower School Teachers St. Anne’s School of Annapolis is accepting applications for a full-time lead Kindergarten teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about teaching and learning in a progressive, constructivist setting, surrounded by collaborative colleagues. St. Anne’s School is a premier 2s-8th independent Episcopal school, recognized for its leading edge, inquiry-based academic program rooted in an intentional social-emotional curriculum. We have used the Responsive Classroom approach school-wide for nearly two decades. Candidates for consideration will be familiar with data-informed balanced literacy instruction. Training and experience in guided reading and readers’ and writers’ workshops (Fountas & Pinnell; Calkins) are preferred. Candidates further should be committed to manipulative and concept-based mathematics instruction, social-emotional learning, and an integrated, project approach to social studies (Katz, Chard).
