The Strategic Coordinator to the Head of School’s Office acts as the initial point of contact for the Head of School. As such, this person must be accessible, approachable, and welcoming, managing confidential situations with discretion, respect, and sensitivity.
The Strategic Coordinator manages the Head of School's schedule, participates in administrative council meetings, and coordinates agendas.
The Strategic Coordinator takes on strategic projects as assigned by the Head of School.
The Strategic Coordinator ensures that the Head of School's office is responsive to the needs of the Board, staff, and community, and will be tasked with ensuring follow-up actions are completed as needed.
The Strategic Coordinator will also support the work of the Middle School Division Head in a similar fashion as they will the Head of School.
The Strategic Coordinator assists the Head of School in developing and executing programs that will foster a partnership between faculty and staff to create a positive environment for students’ academic and social-emotional learning.
Other duties as assigned.
Master’s degree preferred but not required;
Knowledge and understanding of Jewish values and culture;
Ability to interface at the highest level with community partners;
Experience in different aspects of school leadership and community leadership experience;
Incredible organizational and communication skills; writing sample will be required.
Experience with admissions, board support, and/or running special projects is highly desirable.
