Harrisburg Academy is currently seeking a part-time morning Kindergarten assistant teacher. The successful candidate will work from 6:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m., Monday through Friday during the school year as a Kindergarten assistant and during the summer as part of the summer staff. This is a 12-month position that includes health benefits.
We are looking for a qualified individual with high energy who loves working with young children. The position involves assisting the lead teacher with all classroom activities and classroom management, as well as, supervisory responsibilities for before-school care. Candidates should feel comfortable leading learning activities, communicating with parents, and organizing before school activities.
The successful candidate must have an applicable education degree and/or experience working with the early childhood age level. Co-curricular interest in the Arts & Athletics is highly desirable.
Current State Police, Child Abuse, FBI clearances, a physical and a TB test are required. The deadline for cover letter and resume submissions is August 3, 2020.
