Head Teacher - Eliot-Pearson Children's School - (20001424)
This is an academic year position, working 42 weeks per year.
Eliot-Pearson Children's School is a laboratory demonstration school for the Department of Child Development at Tufts University. The school enrolls approximately 67 children ages 3-7.
The Head Teacher's responsibilities include providing a dynamic, developmental, inclusive program for preschool children, curriculum planning, instruction and assessment of children, working with families, therapists, team-teaching and supervising University undergraduate and graduate students. The Head Teacher will also work closely with the admin team to align with new COVID-19 new policies, regulations and programming.
3 years' experience with teaching children, including those with special needs.
Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Skill in designing classroom environments and curriculum within an inclusive setting; experience supervising University students.
Special Education License.
