Candidate will teach two sections of 10th grade chemistry and will help to develop and teach two sections of a new 9th grade science skills class with a focus on physical science. In addition, candidate will become an active member of the department, working to further develop and expand the current science curriculum.
The School has a boarding community of 300 students. All teachers are expected to contribute to the wider academic, boarding and co-curricular program.
QUALIFICATIONS: Certified high school chemistry teacher strongly desired. Uncertified candidates with a Master’s Degree will also be considered. Experience in teaching ESL students is preferred, but not required. Strong teamwork skills and flexibility are strongly desired.
STARTING DATE: September 1, 2020 (preparation may start from the late August)
COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with education and experience. Benefits Package (including health insurance and 403B pension plan).
