Haddonfield Friends School is seeking qualified candidates for floating support positions for 2020-2021 school year. Qualified candidates will have an understanding of and affinity for Quaker philosophy, a strong desire to engage in lifelong learning, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across grade levels. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supporting teachers with small group instruction or with classroom projects, relieving classroom teachers when needed, overseeing lunch and recess, and substituting when necessary.

A commitment to health and safety best practices, including the ability to gently and effectively enforce social distancing and other safety guidelines
Openness to collaboration and planning with Lower and Middle School colleagues and faculty across all grade levels
Patience, and a genuine understanding of child development and respectful behavior management strategies
A rich repertoire of teaching strategies to address a variety of learning styles and needs
Strong communication skills
Strong technology skills and experience with technology integration in the classroom
Commitment to continuous professional learning, including understanding and application of current research
Ability to teach to the whole child, including enthusiasm for inquiry and project-based learning
An ability to meet varied tasks and responsibilities with integrity, enthusiasm, creativity, and humor.

Haddonfield Friends School, a Pre-K through 8th grade school, is located on a five-acre campus in beautiful downtown Haddonfield, a small historic town in southern NJ approximately twenty minutes from Philadelphia.
