Position: Middle School Substitute Teacher, full/time, one-year appointment Reports to: Middle School Division Head FLSA: Exempt, full-time
Duties and Responsibilities
The Middle School is looking for an enthusiastic team-player to substitute teach, to cover the classroom in the absence of the regular (full-time) Teachers. The primary role of a Substitute Teacher is to continue student learning along the continuum, established by the absent full-time teacher.
Managing the classroom
Performing administrative tasks
Promoting positive student behavior
Ensuring the safety and security of the student
Expectation to serve as needed in other school duties when a substitute teacher is not required
