The IU School of Medicine in collaboration with Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI) is seeking both high-potential principal investigators (PIs) starting their career and established PIs to pursue cutting-edge research in diabetes, diabetic complications, and related metabolic disorders. PIs will receive five-year sponsored appointments at the IBRI and faculty appointments at the IU School of Medicine.
The IBRI was created to bring academic and industry partners together to accelerate research and to translate scientific discovery into improved outcomes for patients. The IBRI Diabetes Center serves as a bridge between academia and industry by providing opportunities for interaction, training, and mentoring across the IBRI, Lilly, and IU School of Medicine. MD or PhD (or equivalent)
At least 2 years postdoctoral fellowship or equivalent experience
Or experience equivalent to an appointment with tenure as an Associate or Full Professor
