Emerson School is seeking a full-time first grade teacher for the 2020-2021 school year, to begin as soon as possible and no later than October 5, 2020. We are searching for a talented, team-oriented candidate to design and deliver an enriched, developmentally-appropriate program to a first grade class. This individual will share the planning of curriculum and collaborate closely with the other first grade teacher. This position reports directly to the Lower School Director. A bachelor’s degree and successful experience teaching in a lower school setting, particularly in a remote on-line fashion, are required.
Emerson School is providing daily remote instruction to its students through at least October 2, 2020. A decision regarding a potential on-campus return will be made by the close of September. The selected candidate must be ready to teach online instruction, and must also be able to teach students on-campus, should the school deem it appropriate to offer in-person instruction later in the school year.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates should send a cover letter and résumé to Kelly Vohland at firstname.lastname@example.org. More information about Emerson is available at www.emerson-school.org.
