Atrium School seeks a part-time K/1 teacher with particular enthusiasm for young children, curriculum development, team collaboration, justice and equity. To meet the challenge of teaching during a pandemic, Atrium seeks pragmatic, adaptable and self-starting candidates with a deep understanding of child development, to create classrooms where social/emotional learning, collaboration, and kindness are prized. Ideal candidates will have three years minimum early childhood teaching experience in literacy and/or math, and a genuine curiosity for their own lifelong learning. To match current conditions, we seek candidates with experience in both face-to-face learning and remote/digital instruction.
