Blaze Kids Academy is dedicated to providing children who have lost access to their parents a stable residential home which provides access to an extremely high quality education and superior extra-curricular activities. These children will be coming from rural parts of the United States, and will demonstrate an ability to be a high achieving student if given the right environment, so that with their ambition and our help they can attend the best colleges in the world. Blaze is currently seeking a dynamic teaching professional who is dedicated to providing their students a world-class education. In this role, you will help create innovative and dynamic hands-on lessons to supplement a robust core curriculum for our pilot students. The ideal fit will be an individual with a hands-on approach to teaching, a creative approach to inspiring and motivating students, experience in project based learning yet possesses a thorough understanding and respect for traditional education. Currently, we are working on building our campus as well as creating and piloting programming so we are ready to apply a proven educational model when the first residents arrive in 2023. For Year One (2020/21 Academic Year) you will be working with a 3rd grade student and a 5th grade student helping to oversee and support an established online learning curriculum (ELA, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies) while working closely with Blaze's Executive Director to create the curriculum for a future students. In addition to the two full-time students, there will be opportunities to pilot Blaze-specific programming with small groups of elementary-age children.

Additional Salary Information: Salary: $75,000-$80,000 for 3-5 years of experience. Additional years of experience will result in a higher salary. In addition to base salary, benefits packages will be offered.
