Buffalo Ridge Springs at Big Cedar Lodge is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the open position of 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Working closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and 1st Assistant Superintendent, the 2nd Assistant must be able to manage and assist in the day-to-day operation of the golf course. Tasks include but are not limited to: golf course setup, pesticide application, irrigation system management, staff management, implementation of cultural practices, planning and execution of small projects, and business administration.

Turf or Horticulture degree strongly preferred, and one to three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for customer service.
Must be at least 21 years of age, have a safe driving record and be able to obtain a Missouri class E or Arkansas D with a “P” endorsement designated drivers license. Must be able to obtain Missouri Pesticide Applicator license within 60 days of hire date.
