Founded in 1877 by the Ursuline Sisters as the Academy of the Sacred Heart, Sacred Heart Academy is one division of the multi-division Sacred Heart Schools. Sacred Heart is dedicated to a vision of "creating enlightened scholars, compassionate leaders of high character and responsible citizens who make a difference across Kentucky and around the world." The gorgeous and sprawling 49-acre campus is a home to more than 1,700 total students from age 1 in the Preschool to seniors in high school. Sacred Heart Schools is the only accredited IB District in the state of Kentucky.
