The Campbell-Savona Central School District Board of Education is seeking an outstanding educational leader to fill the position of Superintendent of Schools.
Approximately 814 pre-kindergarten through twelfth-grade students are served in the district’s two campuses.
The Elementary School has a traditional self-contained program for Grades preK-4, with a full day prekindergarten and kindergarten. Instruction for fifth and sixth grade is delivered via a team of teachers in a departmentalized structure. Teachers, along with support staff, emphasize both basic and advanced skills to prepare every child for success in a 21st century world.
At the Junior-Senior High School, approximately 350 students take classes from a listing of 56 courses in grades 9-12. Students also have an opportunity to take 12 college credit-bearing courses offered through Corning, Jamestown and Tompkins-Cortland Community Colleges. We boast a district graduation rate of 90 percent on the most recent NYS District Report Card with approximately 60 percent of our graduating seniors going on to higher education.
The school community is supported by several active organizations including the Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization, the Junior-Senior High Parent-Teacher-Student Organization and the Campbell-Savona Booster Club, an organization that supports all extracurricular activities within the school community.
