The Bridges Academy in West Islip, New York seeks a full time Science teacher to work with children in grades 5-8 for the 2020-2021 school year. The position is available immediately. A successful candidate will be able to prepare students for the New York State Regents in Earth Science (8th grade) in addition to being well-versed in curriculum development and Science instruction in a Middle School setting. Additionally, the candidate should feel comfortable with the tools of technology and be able to teach remotely as needed. They should also enjoy working in a collaborative, growth minded, family oriented community.
