Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Position Summary: 

The Computer Science Teacher will work to help develop a wide range of computer science courses to help students develop in their proficiency with technology, robotics, programming concepts and languages as well as the digital arts. Currently, we offer coursework in programming, robotics, design technology, website design, digital animation, film production, and app design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a computer science curriculum to develop student’s passion for computer science and to build student’s design and computational thinking skills.
• Instruct students on how computers work, including the basic science and mathematics behind their operation and the hardware and the software built on those foundations.
• Instruct students on the essentials of a programming language.
• Willingness to participate in various extracurricular activities/competitions
• Potential oversight of autonomous flight software engineering and drone initiatives. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising administrator.
