Seton Catholic School is seeking a highly qualified School Principal starting July 1, 2021. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Lexington, Kentucky is an evolving, faith-filled Roman Catholic community of the Diocese of Lexington. Seton Catholic School, an integral part of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, serves students 2 years old to 8th grades, through our Preschool, Elementary School, and Middle School divisions. We are comprised of approximately 280 students, 25 contracted teaching faculty, and 15 full and part-time support staff.
The successful candidate will hold a master’s degree in education and meet the Commonwealth of Kentucky approved School Administration certification requirements or be working towards completion of certification within a mutually agreed upon timeline. Candidates should have at least 5 years of teaching experience, experience in school administration and previous experience in a Catholic School system is a plus. The successful candidate will be an active and practicing Catholic with an understanding and ability to provide Catholic identity. This individual will be a self-starter with a positive attitude and will need to work closely with faculty, staff, students, parents, and councils. Proven administrative skills, managerial abilities, fiscal management skills, and experience with fundraising, development, and admissions is a plus.
