We are currently seeking an Upper School History teacher to teach 3/4 time (three classes per semester) beginning in the fall of 2021. Teaching experience is required. Strong candidates will have a degree in History or another social science. A background in world cultures and global studies (including East Asia, South America, or Africa) as well as experience teaching U.S. history or modern European history is prefered. A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion work, an understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in community life, and an interest in using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom are essential. The ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process is also important.
