La Lumiere School is excited to invite applications for the position of Biology Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. The ideal candidate should be comfortable teaching both beginning and advanced biology courses and be passionate about igniting students’ interest in science. At La Lumiere, we believe in encouraging students to go beyond content mastery and develop a sense of wonder and an appetite for lifelong learning. To that end, our teachers strive to meet students where they are, differentiate instruction effectively, and support students’ academic and personal growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Teach between four and six class sections each semester, including Biology (3-4 sections) and Advanced Biology (1-2 sections). Sponsor/supervise a co-curricular activity during two seasons. Serve as an advisor to a group of approximately eight students.
