| University Child Development School is looking for a Teacher for our Elementary level. We are looking for a highly collaborative teacher committed to encouraging their students to stretch, reflect, collaborate, and think expansively. At UCDS, we’ve designed innovative educational programs that activate personal learning styles and set students up for the rewards of life-long learning. This Applicant should have experience building generative and collaborative curricula. Applicants must also be willing to support other teachers, be flexible and support the mission of UCDS. Responsibilities include: - Teaching on-site and via Zoom in synchronous and asynchronous models
- Sharing teaching responsibilities with other teachers
- Advising students and working with students, parents, and other teachers to fully develop a picture of students’ strengths and learning needs
- Creating lesson plans and adapting curriculum to teach Language Arts, math, social studies, and science
- Regular and consistent communication with students, parents and colleagues
Qualifications: - Demonstrated career interest in education
- Bachelor's degree with strong academic track record. Advanced degree and 2-5 years of classroom experience preferred
