Delone Catholic High School (McSherrystown, PA.) is actively seeking an accomplished visionary who exhibits the skills of a dynamic leader with an unwavering commitment to student achievement, staff advancement, school advancement and an appreciation for the traditions and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Responsibilities will include but are not be limited to: • Direct strategic enhancements to drive long range goals and objectives to achieve academic standards while integrating the Catholic faith within the curriculum. • Develop strategies to achieve goals and objectives outlined in the Strategic Plan. • Represent and maintain a visible presence during school hours as well as at school related activities, meetings and events. Be a strong representative and the voice of Delone Catholic to all of the faculty, staff, students, parents and alumni, as well as in the community. • Ensure the school provides student programs and services that are aligned with its mission to enrich the academic program and support the development of student and family life. • Lead policy and procedure development and implementation aligned with school improvement initiatives. • Mentor and support teachers in creating and implementing exceptional learning environments. • Work with the Delone Catholic Board of Directors to ensure the students and employees embrace and observe the school's mission and values, consistent with the Diocese of Harrisburg Catholic Schools. • Responsible for the promulgation and implementation of responsibilities associated with accreditation. • Engage in and implement programs to ensure student safety as well as pandemic planning processes. • Ensure an annual review occurs of the Student Handbook to provide clear and meaningful guidance is established for upholding the expectations of a Delone Student. This should include a review of acceptable and non-acceptable behavior as well as disciplinary actions. • Develop and foster a Magnet Program to help attract students from across districts. • Expand Alternative Education Program to further the reach of our mission to qualifying students and families. • Continue to expand the Delone Catholic college and universities partnership program as well as work with the student guidance office to ensure students have the appropriate counsel, direction and support to prepare for higher education. • Monitor and respond with help from the Delone Catholic Board of Directors as well as the Diocese of Harrisburg on feedback from students, parents and alumni on matters that may impact the school environment. • Review, Develop and Deliver an evaluation process that is designed to provide professional growth, assist with managing on-going trainings and certification while at the same time creating an environment that encourages intellectual transference of knowledge within Departments and across all curriculums. • Work closely in collaboration with existing internal executive leadership, as well as additional support coming directly from the Delone Catholic Board of Directors, to ensure a comprehensive plan for institutional advancement, through communications, marketing and enrollment is fully operational. • Embrace Catholic traditions and incorporate a sense of community within the school as Delone has a strong sense of tradition and faith. • Foster relationships with local elementary partner schools to help increase enrollment opportunities. • Be responsible for managing all aspects of school’s daily operation which includes leading theschool budget process, facility, staff/teacher recruitment and ensuring the school meets state and Diocese required days of instruction. • Be a professional representative of the school and its participating families at various local, state and national efforts that support the mission of Delone to include maintaining positive relationships with groups such as the Chamber of Commerce and other civic organizations.
