| Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Experienced district level administrator wanted for a highly successful school district. Knowledge and experience necessary in collective bargaining, employment law, NYSED certifications, employee benefits, recruitment of faculty and staff, Title IX, DASA, and human resources technological applications. Candidates should have knowledge and experience in the following instructional and management areas: - Effective models of professional development
- Coaching of administrators and staff developers
- The ability to analyze data for short and long term planning purposes
- Hiring and supervision of staff
- Contract management, negotiation and interpretation
- Westchester County Civil Service regulations and processes
A deep understanding of adult learning theory and the change process is required. Applicants should have experience in supporting administrators and teachers as they make change. Additional requirements include: school building leader experience, teaching experience, proven ability to build positive relationships with administrators, faculty, staff and community, strong verbal and written communication practices, and knowledge of effective K-12 school instruction.
