Greens Farms Academy seeks a Middle School Science and Sustainability Teacher to begin in August 2021. The position would include teaching 5th-Grade and 8th-Grade Science as well as working with students in the Upper School as a mentor in a half-credit, yearlong inquiry-based course on Human Ecology and Sustainability. This teacher would also play an important leadership role in the Middle School’s sustainability efforts and serve as a homeroom teacher in the 5th grade. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a science teacher working with children at the upper elementary or Middle School levels and a demonstrated passion for engaging around science and sustainability topics.
