The Packer Collegiate Institute seeks a passionate, experienced, and knowledgeable Science Teacher for Grades 2-4 to teach full-time in our Lower School division for the 2021-22 school year.

Through extensive collaboration, Packer’s two Pre and Lower School science teachers connect student learning in the science lab to the world around them.  Using a child-centered, inquiry-based and hands-on model, the teachers design relevant, stimulating, and challenging investigations that develop student skills and ability to problem solve, work collaboratively, and think critically.  Packer’s Lower School science program emphasizes the development of scientific literacy and depth of understanding rather than the accumulation of scientific facts.
