The Langley School, a PS-8 independent school in McLean, Virginia, seeks middle school teachers (language arts, social studies, mathematics, world language, and science) for anticipated openings beginning in August 2021. Our middle school teachers focus on the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of each child to create a nurturing and stimulating environment in which to learn. Faculty work collaboratively to create and implement inquiry-based, integrated units of study as they strive to meet the needs of every child, every day. In addition to providing instruction in core content areas to students, middle school teachers serve as advisors to mixed-age advisory groupings.
