The Dye Course at Colleton River Club is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Superintendent. We are looking for an eager open-minded individual to step into our dynamic agronomy operation.
Colleton River Club is a private residential golf community located in Bluffton, SC featuring two 18-hole courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye as well as a nine hole par-3 course. Colleton River is located one mile from the Hilton Head Island Bridge and is less than forty minutes from Savannah, GA. The Dye Course was built in 1998 and has played host to numerous tournaments including the 2015 USGA Junior Amateur Championship. In 2016 the Course underwent a complete renovation. In this process all of the greens, tees, and fairways were regrassed and the bunkers where brought back to their original design. The greens were converted to Tif-Eagle Bermudagrass with Tif-Grand collars and the tees and fairways were converted to Celebration Bermudagrass. Job duties include working closely with the superintendent and fellow assistants on all areas of maintenance on the golf course. Other duties include but are not limited to: irrigation, fertilizer & pesticide applications, drainage, budgeting, and training as well as supervision of the maintenance staff.

Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are musts for this position. Spanish speaking is a plus but is not required.
