The Long Ridge School
The Long Ridge School, an independent school for children age 2 to grade 5, is seeking a part-time Spanish Teacher. The Spanish teacher is responsible for developing an engaging curriculum that will build a solid foundation for proficiency in Spanish as well as an increased understanding of the culture and heritage of Spanish-speaking communities around the world. The successful candidate will be a nurturing flexible person with a strong background in Spanish language instruction and an understanding of the developmental needs of children. They should be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and peers as well as be able to employ a variety of instructional techniques to engage young learners. The successful candidate will have a commitment to our school’s mission, to working collaboratively with others, and to upholding the values of the school community.
