We seek to hire a highly motivated and talented Upper School (Grades 9, 11, and 12) History teacher for July 2021 to begin teaching Fall 2021. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of teaching history at the upper school level and a degree in History or Education (advanced degree preferred), a deep love of history and a commitment to teaching critical thinking about both history and our constantly changing world. This teacher will join other dedicated colleagues in a collaborative and stimulating environment. Duties will include classroom instruction, communication with students, parents and colleagues, active participation in the work of the department, advisory duties with students, and participation in department, division, and all-school initiatives. PLEASE SEE REQUIREMENTS BELOW- High School history teaching experience is required.
