We are looking for an experienced administrator to lead the team at Morro Bay High School. MBHS is a school of approximately 800 students and has a beautifully renovated campus just steps away from the Pacific Ocean. The administrative team is composed of two assistant principals in addition to the principal. Initial interviews (committee of district stakeholders): 3/17/21
Final interviews (Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents): 3/22/21 (tentative)
An offer will be made shortly after the final interview and the candidate's appointment will be submitted to the School Board for approval on 3/30/21.
During May and June we are hoping that there will be opportunities for the new Principal to meet with the staff to facilitate a smooth transition.
Requirements / Qualifications
A valid California Administrative Services Credential is required. If you hold an out of state credential, it may be transferrable to California; please attach a copy of your out of state credential to the application. If you are in a credential program, you must complete all program requirements before July 1, 2021 in order to be eligible for consideration.

Additional Salary Information: All managers new to the district start at step 1.
