The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at East Tennessee State University seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor for a 9-month tenure-track position beginning August 2021.
Teaching graduate level courses (online teaching is expected) primarily in the School Leadership and Administrative Endorsement programs;
advisement and mentoring graduate students;
establishing positive relationships with local and regional schools and school systems;
research and scholarly activities;
directing student research through theses and dissertation work; and
appropriate service to the department, college, university, community, and the profession of educational leadership.
All positions at East Tennessee State University are contingent upon sufficient funding.

Earned doctoral degree in Educational Administration or Educational Leadership, with completed dissertation (by August 2021).
Five (5) or more years of professional experience in PK-12 administration at the principal level and/or higher.
Evidence of teaching experience and skill, including the ability to articulate a pragmatic teaching philosophy.
Qualitative and/or quantitative research skills and a research agenda.
