Upper School Physics Teacher

Teaching Responsibilities: At The Benjamin School we believe that good teachers set high standards for their students and then do everything they can to help them achieve those standards. We are looking for teachers who will help our students become self-directed, independent learners with superior academic collegiate skills. The ideal candidate will be able to incorporate several styles of teaching and use varied approaches to the students and material. This person must have a desire to work with students in a challenging, college-preparatory environment and should possess strong interpersonal and written communications skills. Qualified candidates should demonstrate a passion for science, an intellectual curiosity, strong communication skills, the ability to work within a team, skills to engage and inspire students in the pursuit of learning, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. The person filling this position will teach sections of college prep and AP Physics as well as some electives, the specifics of which will depend on the individual talents that the candidate brings to Benjamin.
