Wakefield School seeks a dynamic and innovative educator to lead the development and implementation of a JK - 12 Computer Science curriculum focused on computational thinking and computer science/robotics applications. This position will assess the current offerings seeking alignment and integration and/or evolution of our existing computer science curricular offerings. Key attributes include being a self-starter, willing teacher, and facilitator with a background in computer science. A passion for helping students experience and understand computational thinking, computer science, and its varied applications is a must. Strong communication skills and the ability to coalesce teams are also necessary attributes.

This is a new position and an entrepreneurial spirit and the opportunity to craft the program and grow with the needs of the department are especially exciting elements. This quasi-administrative position is open to non-traditional teaching candidates who may possess the skills and dispositions necessary but may lack experience in an educational environment.
