Harvard-Westlake, a coed, independent school in Los Angeles serving nearly 1600 students in grades 7-12, seeks to hire an exceptional and highly qualified educator for a full-time teaching position in the Upper School Mathematics Department (grades 10-12). The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to teach a rigorous college preparatory curriculum (algebra, precalculus, and calculus) and be prepared to integrate themselves in the life of the school. The Mathematics Department values team teaching, innovation and collegiality.

Bachelor's degree in mathematics or other quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, physics); Graduate degree (e.g., M.Ed., MA, MS) is a plus.
High School-level teaching experience preferred.
Ability to teach Computer Science is a plus.
