Cheshire Academy seeks an experienced, collaborative, and energetic teacher to join the English Department for the upcoming 2021-22 academic year.

Candidates should value a discussion-based classroom, possess a willingness to try out new and diverse books, and approach the teaching of writing through individualized feedback over multiple drafts and revisions.
Minimally, this candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in English. A Master’s Degree or higher in English or a related field is preferred.
Other responsibilities include:
Coaching and/or leading extra-curricular activities;
Weekend team responsibilities;
Residential dorm duty (if housing is provided);
Must have a US driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CT “A” endorsement for purposes of transporting students.
