Milwaukee Montessori School is seeking an energetic, outgoing teacher or aspiring teacher to join our Upper Elementary team, grades 4, 5, and 6 for the 2021-2022 school year or sooner, if available. Qualifications include having an undergraduate degree or a graduate-level degree in Literature and Writing Composition. 

For you to be successful here, we are looking for someone who has a passion for learning. It seems obvious but you should love to read, be a fast reader, be an excellent writer, comfortable with the fact that we do not use textbooks, and also enjoy working with a small team of experienced co-teachers who work together to make the environment exciting, fun-loving, and who are dedicated to mastery-based learning.   

If you want to learn how to implement a variety of innovative teaching methods, are comfortable using technology, and enjoy working in an upbeat, fast-paced, collaborative, environment you will enjoy a career at Milwaukee Montessori School.
