All Saints’ Episcopal Day School in Central Phoenix seeks a Lower School Teacher (kindergarten, first or second grade) beginning in the fall of 2021. The candidate for this full-time position will join an exceptional and talented faculty and work with bright, motivated, and engaging students.
A qualified candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education (advanced study and/or Master’s degree is preferred) and at least two years of elementary classroom teaching experience. Creativity, passion for learning, and a positive attitude are desired as well as the ability to maintain a structured learning environment within a student-centered classroom. Because the specific grade-level opening has not yet been determined, the ideal candidate will have experience at multiple grade levels and demonstrate flexibility regarding the final grade placement. Additionally, he or she must have strong collaborative skills and be able to work closely with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional planning. The candidate will be expected to regularly participate in professional development and program improvement, support students and parents before and after school, and be assigned other duties by the Head of School.
