Lower School Art Teacher

St. Anne’s School of Annapolis seeks a dedicated professional who can teach art classes in all grades (K-4) within the lower school program.

The successful candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in art or art education, and an interest in collaborating with a team of teachers, a strong sense of purpose in teaching lifetime skills, an active curiosity about kids and their success. Four years of teaching experience is preferred but not required.  This is a wonderful independent school and a great place to work.

Job responsibilities include: 

• Teaching art classes in grades K-4
• Showcasing student work on bulletin boards, art shows, and other avenues.
• Working collaboratively with and support team teachers in the other departments
• Be an active member of school life outside the classroom
• Grading and writing narrative term comments about students
• Other duties around the school (class trips, supervision at recess, etc.)
