Fort Worth Academy is seeking a full time physical education teacher and coach to start in August 2021. Founded in 1982, the Academy is home to approximately 160 students engaged in an innovative approach to teaching and learning that moved the school to the national and international forefront of education. The Academy offers an experience expertly designed for the foundation years: kindergarten through grade eight. Small class sizes of no more than fifteen students ensure every child receives highly personalized attention. Various opportunities exist to coach after-school sports and to teach middle school elective courses.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in health and physical education, or related field. Experience teaching grades K-8 is highly desired.
